A group of our students recently swapped the classroom for the court—and the great outdoors—as they took part in an action-packed Netball Residential at PGL Boreatton Park.
Blending competitive netball with adrenaline-fuelled outdoor activities, the trip offered a unique opportunity for students to develop their game, strengthen team bonds, and challenge themselves in new and exciting ways.
During the residential, students participated in coaching sessions, skill drills, and friendly matches, all designed to refine their technique, improve tactical understanding, and boost on-court confidence. Whether passing, shooting, or strategising as a team, the progress made over the course of the trip was clear to see.
But it wasn’t just about netball. The PGL experience delivered its signature thrill factor with high ropes, zip wires, and group challenges, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and build resilience, trust, and self-belief.
The fun didn’t stop when the sun went down. A highlight of the trip was the silent disco, where students let loose and celebrated their hard work with an evening of music, dancing, and laughter—capping off an incredible few days of sport, adventure, and friendship.
A huge well done to all the students who took part for their enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit throughout the trip. We’re proud of all you achieved, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
