The Hyndburn Academy launches Duke of Edinburgh Award Recruitment for Year 9 and 10 Students
We are excited to announce that recruitment for the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award is now open for Year 9 and Year 10 students! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build key life skills, challenge themselves, and earn a highly respected qualification.
Year 9 students are encouraged to sign up for the Bronze Award, which focuses on developing skills such as teamwork, resilience, and community engagement. For Year 10 students, the Silver Award offers a more advanced challenge, building on the foundations of the Bronze and taking participants' personal growth to the next level. Please note you do not have to have completed the Bronze Award to sigh up for the Silver Award.
