Dressed in fluorescent bibs and wielding glow-in-the-dark dodgeballs, students engaged in friendly dodgeball matches against other schools in the area.  Accrington Academy's sports hall was a colourful spectacle as Year 7 students came together for the "Year 7 Glow Dodgeball Event." Organised by Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Schools Sports Partnership.

The event, designed to promote teamwork and fun, was a huge success. The Hyndburn Academy girls' team took home the teamwork prize, demonstrating outstanding cooperation and camaraderie.

Mrs Parker, Head of PE said, "Events like these create a positive school community, and we're thrilled to see our Year 7 students coming together in such a spirited manner." The students left with memories of a fantastic evening, eagerly anticipating more exciting experiences throughout the school year.”
